Now, a growing number of homegrown start-ups are looking to provide greater access for students across the board; Nigerian entrepreneur Sim Shagaya founded edtech company, The uLesson Group, in 2019. He spoke about the opportunities and challenges that come with expanding the academic ecosystem across West Africa through digital tools.
